Archford Accounting, LLC is seeking a dynamic individual with a diverse set of skills to fill the Staff Accountant role. They will be assisting Archford Accounting, a growing firm with multiple locations (currently Edwardsville, Swansea, and meeting rooms in St. Louis). Archford’s service lines currently include Wealth Management, Accounting, Business Consulting, Retirement Plans, and Philanthropy.
The Staff Accountant Role will be responsible for proactive management of their client relationships and providing exceptional customer service. They will prepare financials, enter financial data and prepare reconciliations. They will complete sales tax returns and other required reporting. They will be responsible for preparing and delivering payroll and ensuring deposits and reporting are completed accurately and timely. They will work closely with Accounting Service Manager and other team members.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 3+ years of payroll preparation and accounting experience
- Strong client service & team mentality
- Motivated by helping people
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication
- Aptitude to understand client concerns, questions, and problems then identify appropriate solutions
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, UltraTax, Salesforce/CRM system, Microsoft Office 365, and Microsoft Outlook preferred.
