Ron Buerges has been assisting Archford Consulting clients in the preparation of a business transition, the implementation of value enhancing actions, and transaction negotiations. Prior to his role at Archford, Ron was the Chief Operating Officer managing the entire business enterprise of Allsup, Inc. from 1999 to 2012. He helped to grow the company from 125 to 850 employees during his tenure. Ron specialized in providing services for Long Term Disability insurance carriers and their claimants while representing the disabled individual in front of the Social Security Administration.
Ron was an Audit Senior Manager specializing in the audit of financial institutions for Ernst & Young from 1983 to 1993 and Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer of Magna Group, Inc. from 1993 to 1998, an $8 billion 3 state Bank Holding Company headquartered in St. Louis Missouri. Magna was sold to Union Planters in 1998.
Ron is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. 1983 BS in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and Economics. Suma Cum Lade. He successfully obtained Certified Public Accounting license from the state of Missouri in 1984 (expired in 1994).
